Documentary Feature Film - In Writing

SYNOPSIS:
Luz Caraballo walks alone through the Venezuelan Andes, with the wind and fog as her only witnesses. A judge gives her the title "The Crazy One," and her story becomes a legend. But who is Luz really? Is she a wandering woman, a grieving mother, a victim of oblivion?

Through desolate landscapes and the verses of Andrés Eloy Blanco's poem, this documentary reconstructs her journey: the solitude of letters that never arrived, the tireless struggle to survive, the irreparable loss of her children, and the weight of a trial that condemned her without a defense. Her story now resurfaces in the voices of many women who, through this film, give her a voice.

As her figure fades on the horizon, LUZ invites us to ask: what remains of those women whom history turned into ghosts? And how many others continue to walk in oblivion, named only by the echoes of someone else's decree?
