SYNOPSIS: In 1937, to save themselves from famine in Japan, young Emi is sent to Latin America to marry a stranger. The day of her departure Tetsuo, her father, gives her a crystal saying 'until we meet again'. This phrase becomes Emi's goal in events before, during and after World War II.
