SYNOPSIS:

The Cave of Forgetting follows Francisco, a boy trapped in the fading memories of his grandfather Tulio, who suffers from a disease that erases his identity. On a surreal journey to the Cave of Forgetting, Francisco confronts Chique, a monster that consumes memories, threatening everything he holds dear. Alongside his brave friend Clara, Francisco navigates this place of crystalline cubicles filled with precious yet endangered memories. As he faces the emotional and physical struggle to preserve his grandfather’s memories and his lost love, Julia, the story delves into themes of memory, identity, and the eternal power of love, while reflecting on the importance of remembering cultural heritage in a rapidly changing world.
